The Avenue of the Baobabs is a prominent group of baobab trees in the Menabe region of western Madagascar. Travelers from all over the world are drawn to this striking landscape, making it one of the most visited locations in the region and a place for conservation efforts. The Avenue of the Baobabs trees are thousands of years old, remaining as a legacy of the dense tropical forests in Madagascar.
Monteverde USA® Avenue of the Baobabs is a substantial in size writing instrument that pays homage to these magnificent trees. The design is inspired by the baobab’s smooth tree trunk and compact crowns. Handmade of high-quality resin with beige and brown swirls playing along the barrel and cap, the pen evokes the simplicity and beauty of the baobab trees. A solid walnut ring with polished chrome accents and clip adorns the cap. The barrel is tastefully engraved with the Monteverde USA® and Trees of the World logos, complementing the overall look.
The Avenue of the Baobabs is available in fountain pen and ballpoint modes. The fountain pen is equipped with a stainless steel JoWo #6 nib engraved with the Monteverde USA® logo and fills via a standard cartridge or converter (included). The nib is available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, 1.1mm Stub, and Omniflex point sizes.
The twist-action ballpoint pen accepts standard Monteverde USA® refills P1 and P4 (Parker® style). Each Monteverde USA® pen features a lifetime warranty and is sold in a luxurious gift box. Monteverde USA® is committed to the preservation of our endangered trees and forests and will donate a portion of the proceeds from the Trees of the World collection to organizations that work towards furthering that goal.

The Zen Of Fine Writing
Sad news, Friends... Our physical store in Biltmore Village has been completely destroyed. It's been devastating for us and has been emotionally hard to process or even get our minds around. The flood waters basically swirled all the way to the ceilings, smashing everything to bits and leaving everything coated in toxic mud.
During our transition we set up a "Current Offerings" shopping page where we are adding new items daily. If you don't see what you're looking for, just let us know and we'll arrange getting it to you, since it's likely that we have it but it's simply not up on our site yet. Keep checking back and you will find something new each time you do! We should have this temporary shopping page expanded to a complete website in the next month.
If any of you feel inclined, we have set up a Go Fund Me site for donations. Here is the link to that: https://www.gofundme.com/f/join-us-in-restoring-a-beloved-local-haven
