The Maiora Impronte is a numbered edition fountain pen that immediately catches the eye through a harmonious combination of color that invites the user to celebrate the beautiful life that Italy provides. From friendship and festivity with locals to the joy of art appreciation found throughout this iconic destination.
The Impronte fountain pen embodies a dark orange palate, reminiscent of the color found throughout the Italian countryside, under the Mediterranean sun and reflected on the rocky hillsides. Impronte’s design and the emotion it evokes serves as inspiration for Maiora’s artisans as they create each piece by hand, using old skills passed down through the generations. Impronte collection, the beautiful Italy that each one envisions or dreams about.
Technical Characteristics
Body:
Made from special resins turned by hand from solid bars, Impronte combines polished and matte surfaces. The threaded caps clip is finished in either gold or rhodium plated parts (depending on the version) that have been machined from solid pieces of pure brass and hand-finished to obtain a glossy and matte surface for contrast.
Filling System:
“Converter Special” filling system uses a special threaded converter that allows the pen to be filled like a standard piston fountain pen. Embellished by a gold or rhodium plating and engraved with Maiora’s trademark, it can be accessed by unscrewing the blind cap located at the bottom of the pen shaft to activate the piston.
The use of standard cartridges is also possible. To use a standard cartridge, unscrew the front writing section, separating it from the pen body, remove the converter by turning it counterclockwise. Insert the standard ink cartridge by pressing into place.
Nib:
Stainless steel nib, iridium point, gold or rhodium plated (depending on the version), engraved with Maiora’s trademark.

The Zen Of Fine Writing
Sad news, Friends... Our physical store in Biltmore Village has been completely destroyed. It's been devastating for us and has been emotionally hard to process or even get our minds around. The flood waters basically swirled all the way to the ceilings, literally smashing everything to bits and leaving everything coated in toxic mud.
If any of you feel inclined, we have set up a Go Fund Me site for donations. Here is the link to that: https://www.gofundme.com/f/join-us-in-restoring-a-beloved-local-haven
During our transition we have set up a "Current Offerings" category where we will be adding new items daily. We're hoping this will help us bridge the gap during our transition. So please keep checking back as you will find something new each time you stop by.
